Safety Requirement
LOSK-O is a paste comprising low-molecular siloxane raw rubber, filler and processing aids. The paste is non-volatile, non-explosive, not self-ignitable, burns in fire only, is stable in the environment and under specified conditions of use.
Storage conditions
Keep rubber indoors at both manufacturer’s and user’s below 30oC.
Warranty period of storage
3 months from the date of manufacture
Delivery and price
Rubber is delivered in PE jerrycans (OST 6-19-35-81) of 1 – 5 dm3 capacities, then in wooden crates (GOST 5959-80, П-1 or GOST 18573-86, V-1) or in post boxes. Rubber is supplied on prepaid request at a negotiated price adjusted depending on feedstock cost.
Occupational Safety and Health
Alizarin falls into 3 Class of Hazard by impact to people (GOST 12.1.007-76), exposure limit being 5mg/l. Working area must have fire fighting means and plenum-exhaust ventilation with air exchange rate at least 6. Moreover, places of would-be air pollution with toxic matters must have local ventilation with air suction no less than 0.7m/s. Special clothes recognized for chemical works must be worn. Special requirements for personal hygiene are not specified, though rubber gloves recommended to avoid skin contact.
Application manual
Rubber compound should be vulcanized for 8 hrs at +170oC.
