PDI-3A

Vulcanized rubber obtained with curatives commonly used for epoxies has excellent cold resistance

(-70oC glass transition temperature) and outstanding dielectric characteristics that differentiate it from other epoxide resins.

Besides it and some other features, e.g. loss factor, rubber is similar to diene vulcanizates.

Is useful for potting compounds, in electronics, radio engineering, etc.

Falls into Class 3 of Hazard by impact to people. Working area must have firefighting means and plenum-exhaust general ventilation by dilution. Work on rubber under exhaust hood at air flow rate 0.7m/s, min. Clothes adopted for chemical works should be worn and personal protection means used. Observe personal hygiene rules. When skin contact, wash rubber off with successive acetone, ethanol, soap and warm water.
