- Rubber in not self-ignitable, burns when put in fire only
- Storage conditions
- Keep rubber in airtight containers with no access of moisture, corrosive vapors and direct sunlight, at temperatures no higher than 25oC. Guarantee shelf life from the date of manufacture: - at viscosity not more than 12 Pa.s -- 12 months - at viscosity within (12 – 18) Pa.s – 6 months.
- Delivery and price
- Supply is made on request and on prepayment terms. Cost agreed. Rubber is delivered in tightly closed flasks (GOST 5799) or in tinned cans (GOST 5981, 6128), the neck should have a rubber gasket. If agreed with customer, polymer containers (GOST 17000) may be used.
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Relates to the hazard class 3 by degree of impact. Working area must be provided with fire-fighting means and plenum-exhaust general ventilation by dilution. Work on rubber under hood with air flow 0.7 m/s at the least, with clothing on that is recognized for chemical industry. Have personal protection means. In the case of skin contact wash rubber off with ethanol and then with soap and water.
