Designed for sealing rubber, metal, glass reinforced plastic and other articles which work at -60oC÷80oC in air and seawater contact in different climatic regions.
УГ-2Д is the most stable in water, incl. seawater, among all the polyurethane compositions (water swell 2-3%), that makes it useful in shipbuilding to seal units of both windage and careen.
УГ-2Д strength and adhesion values are higher than these of thiocol-based sealants used before.

- Appearance
- Sealant is a RTV two-component compound. Component 1 (urethane prepolymer) – a honey-like liquid without lumps and inclusions, density 0.95g/cm3. Component 2 (curative) – viscous black liquid.

- Keep the components dry at 0 – 40oC. Moisture presence in components is unacceptable. Guarantee period of storage is governed by that of prepolymer, provided the product keeps sealed, and lasts 6 months from the date of manufacture.
- Delivery and price
- Sealant components are delivered in clean, dry, airtight flasks of 40dm3 capacity (GOST 5799), П-type cans (GOST 13950), П-type aluminum drums (GOST 21029), cans №№ 9-17 (GOST6128) or in polymer containers (Specs. 38. 1011178).
- Application manual
- Mix the components just before use, at 15 – 30oC and air relative humidity not more than 75%. Use during 1 – 1.5 hours. Cure time is 24 hrs at 15oC or higher temperatures. Be aware that pot life of the sealant goes down with increasing temperature. 3 – 10% amount of silica filler may be employed to raise thixotropy of the liquid sealant. Cured sealant is a rubbery mass of (1.0 ± 0.1) g/cm3 density. Complies with the Specs. requirements for mechanical properties of the sealant after 10-15 days been kept. When necessary, it may be allowed to stand a shorter time.
